The European Pillar of Social Rights is one of the documents issued by the European Union in its pursuit of ensuring the fundamental rights of all of its inhabitants. This booklet may seem small but it is extremely relevant as a Union-wide Action Plan based on it, is currently being made. Its specific importance for mentoring programs and networks come in several potential ways (note the highlighted parts in the document).
